WORKSHOP
Therapy Is Expensive, Glue Is Cheap.
Through guided prompts, explore your inner world.
A mixed-media workshop on how art and creativity can help us understand, express and represent the different parts of who we are.
It’s inspired by my own artistic practice. I kept drawing the same characters over and over: small, round, colourful and very sassy. Eventually I realised they were an extension of me, carrying the qualities I was looking for in my own life, like stability, comfort and confidence. Sometimes the things we make know us better than we know ourselves.
This workshop starts from that idea. It’s not about mastering a technique or making something perfect. It’s about trying different ways of expressing yourself and finding which ones feel natural, meaningful or surprising.

How it works
1. Look inward. What makes you, you? Guided prompts around your obsessions, memories, contradictions, desires and the things you’re naturally drawn to.
2. Find your language. How do you express it? Experiment with drawing, collage, writing, sculpture, photography or anything else that calls to you.
3. Create. Turn a feeling, a need or an idea into something tangible, such as a character with a face and a voice. There’s no right outcome.
4. Look again. What does your creation tell you? Take a moment to see what part of yourself you discovered, or exaggerated.
5. Share. If you want to, share your piece and its story, and help build a collective portrait of inner worlds.
Final outcome: a mixed-media collection of personal works, a visual, poetic and sculptural portrait of everyone’s inner world.
No drawing skills needed. Just curiosity about who’s in there.
